Glenfawn

Glenfawn was probably named by Monte Verdi plantation owner, Julien Sidney Devereux but local legend says it was given its name by the locals after a man named Glen killed a fawn in that area. It's located on FM 1662, south-southeast of Laneville and is now only a cluster of homes, a few churches, and several burial grounds.

  was located near Glenfawn and tours of the Devereaux mansion are permitted by appointment on special occasions by the Koch family, who now own the mansion.
