Ark-La-Tex Genealogical Association Seminar - August 12, 2017

The Ark-La-Tex Genealogical Association will host an all day seminar and book fair on Saturday August 12, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. Featured speaker will be Cari Taplin, Certified Genealogist and Lecturer. Her lectures include:
(1) Using Lists to Find Proof of Your Ancestors;
(2) Using Church Records to Find Ancestral Origins;
(3) Canadian Migration Patterns into the U.S. (Examining some of those migration patterns and the documents they created); and
(4) From Deeds to Dirt: Case Studies in Analyzing Research With Maps.
Barnes & Noble will also be on site with a large selection of genealogy and history books. Lunch and syllabus included if pre-registered. Numerous door prizes. Limited seating.
